Organized by the Construction Business News, a prestigious construction publication covering the Middle East, the event gathered big names from the construction industry within the region to discuss about the challenges and future of the market in the Arab world.
Mohammed Jafer Musthafa, the Managing Director of Daemaar Group, lead the panel “The road to 2020” debating about the ambitious projects of Dubai, the big developemnts and preparations for the Expo 2020 and shared valuable insights with leaders from Al Shafaar Group, Cimolai Rimond, Thomas & Adamson and Sobha Group.
Expressing his positive insights towards the construction market by analyzing the current growth withmarket statistics in terms of project values and investments created towards the event of Dubai Expo 2020. The highlight of his insigths wasthat “the projects unveiled for 2020 are meant to re-shape what Dubai is as infrastructure and architecture”.
The event concluded with a discussion of building fire safety in the UAE, which mainly focused on the implications for construction industry stakeholders of the recently introduced fire safety code of practice. Fire safety experts from AESG, NICEIC and Transpro took to the stage to give their thoughts on the topic.
